The Adrian International Film Festival is a not-for-profit event, geared towards the continued revitalization of our beloved downtown core. Our team hopes to build a Festival that filmmakers and community members alike look forward to each year.
The event is focused on an effort to enhance the community atmosphere of our downtown by promoting healthy activities. All proceeds from the events are donated towards the AF Downtown Community Rink - learn more here.

Narrative Feature 40 minutes of length or longer. All genres are accepted.

Short
Narrative short 40 minutes of length or shorter. All genres are accepted.

Feature Documentary
Feature documentary 40 minutes of length or longer. All genres are accepted.

Short Documentary
Short documentary 40 length or shorter. All genres are accepted.

​
Student Film
The director and producer of a production both must have been students during production of the film to be eligible. All genres are accepted.

Animation
Animated film of length. All genres are accepted.

SUBMISSIONS
Film must have been completed after January 2020 to be eligible. There are no premiere status requirements. Entrant confirms and warrants required legal authority to submit the entry into the Festival and to use all music, images and content in the entry. Press kit is required. Digital online submission screeners only.
All participating filmmakers will receive an "Official Entrant" laurel, with the category winners receiving an additional "Category Winner" laurel and a cash prize.
